For parents
KindCircl is designed for kids, so a parent is in charge from the very first step.
How it works
- You create the account. Sign up with your email and confirm you are a parent: a 50 cent card check that is refunded right away, or our signed parental consent form. Your kid never enters an email, password, real name, birthday or photo.
- Your kid signs in on their device. Show a one-time code (it expires in 10 minutes), or tap "Set up this device for my kid" on a device you share.
- You approve every friend. Both kids' parents say yes before anyone can be friends, join a Squad or chat 1-on-1.
- Private messages are off until you turn them on. You can switch them off again any time, and you can read your kid's private messages.
Built-in safety
- Every message goes through a kindness filter on our servers. Messages that are unkind, share personal info or other apps, or threaten someone are stopped and never saved.
- Games have no chat, only a few friendly reactions, and answers are tapped from cards, letters and number pads.
- Links that leave the app, sharing, and parent actions ask a grown-up question first.
- If your kid writes something that sounds like they are having a hard time, it is not posted, they are not punished, and they see a caring message that lists the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. You get a calm alert so you can check in.
- Kids can report or block anyone. Our safety team reviews reports.
- No photos or videos of kids, no voice, no location, no ads, no tracking and no outside analytics.
Your rights
You can review what we store, turn off private messages, withdraw consent (which pauses your kid's account), or delete everything, at any time. Read the Notice to Parents and Privacy Policy.
