KindCircl Parental Consent Form

Print it, fill it in by hand, sign it, then take a photo or scan and upload it in the KindCircl app (Settings, or the "Confirm you're a parent" step).

What I am agreeing to

I am the parent or legal guardian of the child or children named above. I have read the KindCircl Notice to Parents and Privacy Policy (kindcircl.com/notice-to-parents and kindcircl.com/privacy-policy). I understand that:

  • KindCircl collects from my child a username (not their real name), an age group, an emoji avatar, the Circls (clubs) they join or create, their friend list, the messages and stickers they send, their CirBux and shop items, and safety records such as reports, blocks and kindness checks.
  • My child's messages in Circls are visible to other KindCircl kids in those Circls, and private messages are visible to friends that both parents approved. I can read my child's private messages and turn them off.
  • Messages are deleted automatically after 90 days. Other information is kept and deleted as described in the Data Retention Policy.
  • KindCircl does not sell my child's information, does not show ads, and does not use outside analytics or advertising trackers.
  • I can review my child's information, ask for it to be deleted, and withdraw this consent at any time in the app or by contacting kindcircl@yahoo.com. Withdrawing consent pauses my child's account.
I consent to KindCircl collecting and using my child's information as described above to run the service.
I consent to KindCircl showing my child's messages, username and avatar to other KindCircl kids in the Circls they join and to friends I approve. (This is required to use chat.)

KindCircl keeps this signed form as your consent record while your account exists. Only the KindCircl team can see it. It is deleted when you delete your account. Sending this form is one of the parental consent methods allowed under the Children's Online Privacy Protection Rule (16 CFR 312.5).
