KindCircl Terms of Use

Effective date: October 20, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you (the parent or legal guardian) and KindCircl.com ("we", "us"), which operates KindCircl. By creating a parent account, you agree to these terms for yourself and on behalf of each child you add.

1. Who can use KindCircl

  • Parent accounts are for adults 18 or older who are the parent or legal guardian of each child they add.
  • Kid accounts are for children up to age 15 and can only be created by their parent after verified consent.
  • You must give accurate information, including your child's age group.

2. Your responsibilities as a parent

  • Choose a username for your child that is not their real name.
  • Keep your parent login private. You are responsible for activity under your account and your children's accounts.
  • Review friend requests and safety alerts. Please go over the Community Rules with your child.

3. Rules for everyone

No bullying, threats, hateful or sexual content, sharing personal information, pretending to be someone else, asking kids to move to other apps, spam, cheating, or trying to break or get around KindCircl's safety systems. See the Community Rules.

We may stop or remove content, pause or end an account, or contact the parent when these rules are broken. We report suspected child exploitation to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) as the law requires.

4. CirBux (virtual currency)

  • CirBux are pretend coins kids earn by using KindCircl. They cannot be bought with real money, have no cash value, and cannot be exchanged, transferred, or redeemed for money or real goods. They are not property.
  • Shop items are a limited license to use a virtual item inside KindCircl only.
  • We may change earning amounts, prices and items. CirBux and items end when an account is deleted.
  • KindCircl has no real-money purchases. If that ever changes, purchases will be in a parent-only area and we will give notice first.

5. Content

  • Your child keeps any rights they have in what they write. You give us a limited license to store and show it to the people it was sent to, only to run KindCircl.
  • Messages are deleted automatically after 90 days.
  • We may block or remove content that breaks the rules.

6. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information and is part of these terms.

7. Withdrawing consent and ending accounts

  • You can withdraw consent in Settings, which pauses all your kids' accounts, or delete a kid's account or your own account at any time.
  • We may pause or end accounts that break these terms or put kids at risk.
  • We may change or stop offering KindCircl, with reasonable notice when we can.

8. Disclaimers

KindCircl is provided "as is." Our safety tools reduce risk but cannot catch everything and do not replace parent supervision. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, KindCircl.com is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to $1,000. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

10. Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
(Attorney to draft: governing law (California), venue, and whether to use arbitration or small claims. Arbitration terms involving minors need careful review.)

11. Changes

We may update these terms. For material changes, we will notify you by email or in the app before they take effect.
